In this award winning game you control a group of settlers trying to tame the wilds on the remote but rich isle of Catan. Start by revealing the many harbours, plains, meadows, mountains, hills forrests and desert, the random mix of which means that you will create a different board virtually every time you play. Now embark on your quest to settle the isle of Catan! Guide your settlers to victory by clever trading and cunning development. Use resource combinations - grain, wool, ore, brick and lumber - to buy development cards and build roads, settlements and cities. Aquire your resources through trade or lucky dice but beware! Watch out for sneaky players who might cut off your road or buy a monopoly and wiley robbers that might steal away with your precious gains!
