Kimochis Cat

Sometimes children have strong feelings and so do Kimochis. These wonderful soft toys help children learn how to experience, understand, and communicate these emotions in positive ways; and when children can communicate their feelings effectively, they cultivate confidence, kindness, self-awareness, self-control, resiliency, and gratitude.
Kimochi means "feeling" in Japanese, and each of these large characters comes with 3 kimochis - small soft emotion toys with a feeling printed on one side and a corresponding facial expression on the other. Each character has a special pocket children can store their kimochis/feelings as they get in touch with their emotions in a fun and comfortable way through puppetry and play.

Cat knows what she wants, when she wants it, and why. Cat can be very persuasive. When she makes up her mind, there is no stopping her. When the group needs a leader, they can always count on Cat as she loves to be in charge, but sometimes she can be a bit bossy. Cat lives in a Cherry Blossom Tree and she likes to keep her house tidy and loves to host tea parties. Cat's favourite number in 10, her favourite colour is purple, and she loves to snack on toasted almond cookies and warm milk.
Cat is full of surprises! Sometimes Cat can seem a little prickly on the outside, but on the inside she has a very soft centre. Sometimes Cat's bossiness can lead to confrontation, or 'cat fights' and feelings can get hurt. That's why there are plenty of bandages around and 2nd chances to be given. Cat LOVES bandages - when they appear this can only mean that the healing process is underway!

Kimochi Cat comes with 5 reusable sticky material bandages to heal hurt feelings, and has a pouch in her front to store her kimochi feelings. The feelings that come with Cat are Happy, Curious, and Cranky, as well as a Feeling Guide and small bag to put the guide and emotions in when not in use.
